RAMA (Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Manufacturers Association) is a non-profit Association founded in 1991 and represents the Manufacturers in Refrigeration and Air conditioning Industry in India, for furthering the interests of the AC &R industry in the country and maintaining highest environmental, safety and ethical standards, while developing world class products for the Domestic and Export markets.
The members are from the leading Indian Companies and MNCs from the US, Japan, Korea, Europe and China located in India. The manufacturers are in the business of equipment and components.
RAMA, as an Association is recognized by Ministries and departments of Government of India, viz., Ministry of Industry and Commerce , Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Power. RAMA actively participates in all their programmes of common interest . Views are sought by regulatory bodies on the matters relating to Air-conditioning on business development, Standards & Technology.
RAMA actively Collaborates on policy and Governance Issues impacting the AC & R Industry with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Bureau of Indian Standards, Ozone Cell, DPIIT amongst others in our efforts to Service are customers.
