Mukundan Menon is a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a Graduate Diploma in Management. He has completed a 3-Tier Programme for Management Development at IIM Ahmedabad, as well as a Leadership Excellence Programme from INSEAD France.
Mr. Menon has joined Voltas Limited in July 2023 and brings with him a rich experience of over three decades leading organisations in India and overseas. He is known for his experience and expertise covering the entire spectrum of HVAC products namely – Room Air conditioners, Commercial Air Conditioners and Commercial Refrigeration Products. Prior to joining Voltas, Mr. Menon was the President & Chief Operating Officer of Blue Star Limited and Director of Blue Star Climatech Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Star.
Known for his strategic understanding of the opportunity the Indian market presents and a sharp focus on the Air conditioning and Refrigeration domain, Mr. Menon has a strong connect across the value chain. Given his operational experience across domains including entering new markets, building new product categories and scaling up businesses with a clear long-term strategic vision and exceptional short and mid-term execution capabilities, Mr. Menon has carved a niche for himself as a visionary and an astute leader.
Mr Mukundan Menon is Vice – President of RAMA – Refrigeration and Airconditioning Manufacturers Association and a member of its Executive Committee.
